Transloading at JAXPORT

JAXPORT handles containers, breakbulk and roll-on/roll-off cargo across three marine terminals, and its location gives importers access to Florida and the Southeast. Heavy and out-of-gauge freight coming through Jacksonville needs more than a dock door.

Eastern Terminals is built for that freight. In Jacksonville we strip, store and reload flat racks, open tops, OOG and project cargo, steel pipe, coils, plate and aluminum with our own cranes, booms and heavy-duty forklifts, with outdoor yard storage for long and heavy material. We pull from all three JAXPORT terminals, so one company handles the freight from the pier to final delivery.

Can you store steel pipe and other metals in Jacksonville?

Yes. We store steel pipe, structural steel, coils, plate, aluminum and copper in Jacksonville, with indoor racked space and outdoor yard storage for long and heavy material.

Do you pick up containers from the terminals?
