Transloading at the Port of New York and New Jersey

The Port of New York and New Jersey is the busiest port on the East Coast, and a large share of its steel, machinery and project cargo moves through Port Newark and Elizabeth. That freight rarely fits a standard dock door. Flat racks and open tops need to be stripped with a crane or boom, pipe needs yard space, and coils need forklifts rated for the weight.

Eastern Terminals is built for that freight. In New York & New Jersey we strip, store and reload flat racks, open tops, OOG and project cargo, steel pipe, coils, plate and aluminum with our own cranes, booms and heavy-duty forklifts, with outdoor yard storage for long and heavy material. We pull from every major terminal in the harbor, so one company handles the freight from the pier to final delivery and you are not coordinating a trucker, a warehouse and a rigger separately.
